About me

Accounting Entrepreneur

I wanted to be an accountant from the age of 7. I pursued this goal until I qualified as a Chartered Accountant at 28. I have a postgraduate degree in Accounting, and I lecture students on their accounting qualification journeys. My entrepreneurial focus is on coaching students and young professionals on Fixed and Growth Mindsets, and the impact these have in our studies, careers and lives.

Along the way, as my life and career started moving in the direction of entrepreneurship, I found it incredibly challenging. I found that my studying and formal qualification actually got in the way of developing an entrepreneurial mindset. I see the same thing with SO many students and young professionals. I’ll share these thoughts and lessons with you.

In today’s society, I think that developing an entrepreneurial mindset is really essential, and I’ll explore reasons for that here as well.

I want to encourage accountants to look outside their traditional career options and mindset, and create a future for themselves.

Teacher

I lecture Auditing and Accounting for students studying towards professional Accounting qualifications. Beyond lecturing the content, I am incredibly passionate about helping people develop themselves outside the classroom

Nomads

Richard (Hubby) and I live in Montenegro and work online. We're not 'classic' nomads, but we're completely location-neutral, working from home and coffee shops where ever we travel. We work hard to have control over our lifestyle and choices

Entrepreneur

I work for myself. I'm not a natural entrepreneur, and I see many people struggling with similar challenges. I share lessons I've learnt to help others overcome their challenges and develop the skills to truly define their own futures and lifestyles

Student

I'm currently studying towards my Masters in Accounting. My focus is on Fixed and Growth Mindsets and how they affect people on their qualification journeys
